BROADGROUP PRESENTS ON DATACENTRES GERMANY IN EUROPE AT ECO EXPERT GROUP
17 September 2012 – International consulting firm BroadGroup (www.broad-group.com) will present on Datacentres Germany in Europe at the forthcoming Eco Expert Group (http://www.it-sa.de/en/congress_en) which takes place at Messezentrum Nürnberg on 16th October 2012.
Recently completing an annual update to the Germany Datacentre Market report, BroadGroup will discuss the unique structure of city markets in the country, and factors for growth. It will also provide its latest five year forecast for German third party datacentre facilities to 2016.
Frankfurt’s plan to position itself as the primary digital hub in mainland Europe has led BroadGroup to revise its gross m2 forecast for the country, with a predicted increase of 33% from its base today by 2016.
The update reviews market developments, and a detailed assessment of competitive moves by datacentre players in the Frankfurt market. It also reports on key data centre developments in other city markets in Germany.
“Cloud computing is also an area of critical focus given that is seen by the Federal Government as an important factor for economic growth in Germany,” commented Steve Wallage managing director of BroadGroup Consulting. “Overall market drivers are fuelling a resilient third party datacentre sector in Germany, despite wider economic concerns, and Frankfurt will increase its competitive positioning among the four key markets.”
Organized by eco, the German Internet users association, the Summit is for datacentre professionals within the German speaking markets.
BroadGroup is the leading practice in datacentre markets and regularly conducts financial analysis, commercial due diligence, market research and management consulting in the sector. With the largest library of datacentre reports, it also produces a series of regional events internationally.
