BROADGROUP ANNOUNCES WARWICK DUNKLEY AS VICE PRESIDENT
London, 12 August, 2011 – International consulting firm BroadGroup has announced that Warwick Dunkley is appointed as vice president.
Mr Dunkley has been responsible for the establishment of a range of new BroadGroup conference brands and has successfully spearheaded growth across central Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
“Warwick brings a range of unique skills and experience, and has contributed to the expansion of our business in new geographies,” commented Philip Low, founder and director of BroadGroup. “He will work on improving the brand’s operating and financial performance and significantly ameliorating value creation.”
He will be in charge of implementing the ambitious international plan to enhance the position of BroadGroup as a new global reference in sector niche international conferences.
In order to stimulate change and better meet the challenges of the future, BroadGroup will become a separate and dedicated business within the Group. To this end, BroadGroup has assembled a multi-national team with global experience in both the conference and publishing sector.
“I am very pleased to join the leadership team of BroadGroup and especially at such an exciting time in the history of the brand,” commented Dunkley. “The formation of the global business team that has extensive experience, expertise and a proven track record of leadership in both the conference and publishing industry, will enable us to put into motion the great ambitions we have for BroadGroup and to capitalize on the many opportunities that lie ahead.”
BroadGroup was founded to provide senior managers with a different perspective of new and emerging business niches in the IT and Telecoms sector, create new communities of interest, and inspire them with fresh insight through a value chain including special reports, conferences and bespoke consulting. Today, the company covers a portfolio of markets including datacentres, dark fibre, IT infrastructure, wholesale and TMT finance.
