THE #FIF50: Nominations are now open for the Data Economy finance, investment and funding movers & shakers to watch
Help us find the 50 finance, investment and funding movers & shakers to watch in data centres and cloud globally.
Often, we hear that the digital economy is backed-up by data centres and that is true. Almost. Because behind the facilities walls, investment talks, financial compliance, private equity rounds, and so on, are just as important as the buildings themselves.
There are thousands of people working in those fields to ensure the data centre and cloud spaces continue to build on their momentum and those people deserve recognition.
Building up on our focus on the macro-economics of the IT assets, we, Data Economy, the leading IT infrastructure news source, are looking to identify those making waves in the data centre and cloud finance space.
Starting today and running until December 31, 2017, everyone is encouraged to nominate the individuals they think have had a positive impact on the data centre and cloud industries.
This nomination is open to Chief Financial Officers, Finance Directors, CEOs, COOs, legal counsel and anyone involved in the innovative financial governorship within the sector.
Nominations will be judged by an expert judging panel to be announced soon, a new addition to the Data Economy expertise.
Out of the 50 personalities, the judges will also choose one individual as the top finance, investment and funding mover and shaker. The winner will receive a special award at the Finance and Investment Forum, hosted in London on February 1, 2018.
“Investors and others in the financial governorship arena are the force behind this industry and sometimes – many times - they get forgotten,” said Data Economy’s editor João Marques Lima.
“We have successfully run two listings so far – the Data Economy EMEA 50 and the 30 Under 30 – and this 50 FIF listing will take us to a new level as we deepen our finance and investment coverage. We are also excited to introduce a judging panel and look forward to the final 50 names which will be announced in the third edition of the Data Economy magazine, out on January 31, 2018, during Datacloud UK 2018.”
