Where deals are done in the cloud economy

Over the last decade BroadGroup has successfully built and hosted a series of events for datacentre, cloud and IT infrastructure professionals respected by sponsors, attendees and speakers alike. Achieving a series of ‘firsts’ BroadGroup hosted the first ever cloud event in London – Powered by Cloud – which achieved enormous recognition as the first transatlantic conference bringing cloud energy and focus to businesses in the UK and Europe. We were also the first to develop and produce the acclaimed Dark Fibre Convention which brings together international buyers and sellers of dark fibre.

Internationally we have produced a range of events in Asia , specially tailored to the region’s rapidly evolving datacentre and cloud markets in Singapore, Malaysia/Johor, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Sydney. In the middle east, events have been held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi (UAE), in Doha Qatar and in Mauritius. In Europe BroadGroup hosts Datacloud Global Congress the international annual event in Monaco attended by more than 50 countries.

Our main brands include:

Datacloud creates the leading platform for datacentre and cloud IT infrastructure end users, software, solutions providers, experts, investors and all companies engaged in this expanding sector. The conferences explore the very latest in technologies and markets, to inspire through rich content and uniquely host senior executives to meet, connect, collaborate and do deals. Events include Europe (Global Congress), Nordic and South East Asia.

FIF brings together stakeholders and players across finance and investment including private equity firms, hedge funds, investors, bankers and analysts, with public and privately owned cloud services, carrier neutral and carrier owned operational companies, government and regional investment authorities, property interests, and law firms to assess the market outlook and identify key opportunities, types of finance available, M&A and business models.
FIF events take place in London, Hong Kong, New York and Sydney.

Cloud Law addresses key concerns for enterprises contending with liability, cyber-security, the implications of new privacy legislation from the European Commission, and the US Patriot Act. The event takes place in London annually.

As transformation is driven by mega-datacentre applications, Dark Fibre Convention explores the opportunities and challenges for fibre optic communication technologies to support the growth of cloud computing over the next three to five years. As an international convention it principally draws on companies across the EMEIA region and provides a platform for latest information, networking and deal making.
