| Philip
Low, Managing Director
Mr Low has managed research projects on behalf of a range of clients
internationally. Prior to founding BroadGroup, he was deputy managing
director of The Phillips Group, and headed the consultancy practice.
His current focus includes enabling companies to develop their marketing
strategies in data services, wireless broadband pricing, market
entry and internationalisation.
He has personally provided strategic
advice to, and conducted analysis projects for, international operators
in Europe and Asia and has managed projects won with PTOs, regulatory
bodies and institutions including the DTI, ITU, European Commission
and the ITU/World Bank.
He holds a BA (Hons) degree
in International History and Politics from Leeds University, and
is currently completing his dissertation for an masters degree in
International Marketing at Strathclyde University Graduate Business
School. He has authored two published works, Exchange: the role
of online exchanges in wholesale telecommunications (October, 1999)
and Pricing and Marketing Wireless Hotspots, (January 2003). He
has particular experience of Asia including six years based in the
region.

Nicola
Hayes, Vice President
Formerly Managing Partner of the Consultancy Practice at The Phillips
Group (subsequently PBI Media). Nicola has been involved in some
of the most successful multi-client studies undertaken by the Group,
including City Based Fibre in Europe and Dark Fibre in Southern
and Central Europe as well as numerous custom client projects covering
regulatory issues, ASPs , webhosting and colocation. Nicola has
experience in dealing with issues related to telecommunications
rights of way for the construction of fibre-optic networks and has
dealt extensively with National Regulatory Authorities throughout
Europe as well as the European Commission and the FCC. She is also
a regular speaker at international conferences.
She holds an LL.B (Hons)
in Law from the University of Leeds, a Masters degree in International
Law from the University of Leiden (Netherlands) and is a member
of the Bar of England & Wales.

Mark
Langworth, Chief Technology Officer
Mark Langworth has been in the IT industry for eightteen years,
starting his career as an Operations Supervisor for an IBM Reseller.
Since that point, his roles have
been varied including support, consultancy, web design and development,
network/systems design and implementation, networking, databases
and management. Platforms have included Sys 36, Sys 38 and AS400
IBM midrange systems as well as PC platforms using both Novell and
NT.
Mark has worked for many large
and well known companies such as Perpetual Unit Trust, Martin Baker
Aircraft, Travelex, The Automobile Association and Telstra in Australia.
Mark is also Managing Director
of Urban Marketing Global Ltd, a company focused on providing marketing
services to the ICT sector.

Nick
Topham, Associate Director and Head of Wholesale Practice
Holding extensive experience in the ICT sector, Nick Topham specialises
in providing advisory services to telecommunications operators and
regulators, and in conducting business development activities in
developing world markets, primarily in the Middle East and S.E.
Asia. He also offers “business turnaround”, acquisitions
and market development consultancy in the TMT sector.
His earlier roles include Founder
and CEO of Equitel Communications focused on communications in developing
markets, prior to which he was Director of the Global Communications
and Entertainment practice at Arthur Andersen where he advised service
provider organisations internationally on issues ranging from privatisation,
valuations and acquisitions to the development of global services.
During this time he managed the privatisation of Telecom Malta,
and has also acted as consultant advisor to the operator in Oman.
His career has included thirteen
years at BT where he was latterly Head of Market Development and
Strategy for BT International Carrier Services. Nick was responsible
for BT wholesale strategy in the context of the evolving international
telecommunications market. He was also responsible for the strategy,
product development and launch of the innovative wholesale refile
product, Select, that subsequently carried billion of minutes.
He holds a bachelors degree in
Bio-Medical Electronics, and a masters in Telecommunications Business
from University College London.

Keith
Breed, Research Director
An independent consultant since 2005, Keith has
been engaged on several market research projects which involve analysing
the main trends affecting the telecommunications and IT sectors.
He has written several articles
for Total Telecom Magazine, including subjects such as the growth
of long-distance Ethernet services; the rise of the Virtual Network
Operator; trends in the wholesale voice market and a survey of the
pros and cons of network convergence for the enterprise. He is now
a contributing editor to the magazine.
Keith has previously been responsible
for sales and marketing in the European Head-quarters of Japanese
carriers NTT Com and KDD, and has had experience of setting up and
managing corporate & wholesale sales and marketing departments.
He has particular experience of the global telecommunications industry,
including Japan and Asia.
Prior to joining KDD, he was a
Product Manager with Mercury Communications, and after finishing
his MBA, started work as a Market Analyst in BT UK’s Marketing
Strategy Unit.
He has an MBA from Bradford University,
and his original degree is in Modern History with Economics from
Manchester University.

Caroline
Hitchins, Business Development Director
Caroline began her career in telecoms as Sales Manager at Phillips
Tarifica, responsible for the selling of reports, research and consultancy
services. She was thereafter promoted to Senior Business Development
Manager within Tarifica's parent company, The Phillips Group (subsequently
PBI Media). In this role, Caroline headed up exhibition and sponsorship
sales for the international series of Billing events, in addition
to being directly responsible for advertising opportunities within
"Billing" magazine. Blue Chip companies such as Compaq,
IBM, BT, Lucent and Logica were amongst her major clients.
Caroline
took a break from the world of telecommunications whilst having
two children but we are pleased to welcome her back to manage our
Business Development activities. She has a degree in French from
the Sorbonne University, Paris.

Rosie
Woolley, Logistics Director
Rosie’s background is predominantly
in housing management, in particular the management of social housing
estates for a London borough.
She also has a wealth of experience
within the special needs sector, from managing care in the community
housing projects to providing adult education teaching support at
Richmond College.
She now manages all client relationships
for BroadGroup events, including speakers as well as the logistical
requirements of event sponsors.
Rosie holds a BA Hons in
Humanities from the University of Humberside in Hull.
